PRC "aggressively" developing space station

Confirming an earlier report from Xinhua, Craig Covault over at Spaceflight Now is reporting that far from maintaining cautious and methodical space exploration, Beijing is preparing to launch a 17,000 lb low orbiting manned "military" space station. Launch is expected, Craig reports, in late 2010, to coincide with the retirement of the Space Shuttle.
